“My name is Jennifer and at 26 years old I decided to compete in the 2016 Swimming Paralympics. I asked Laurie Dickson for her expertise in training me for the sport. I have lost approximately 20 pounds and I look fabulous than ever. Laurie is working on building up mostly my arms, shoulders, and back muscles, which play a big role in swimming.
Laurie certainly knows how to train athletes in the gym, because specifically for swimming, Laurie told me that too much muscle on a swimmer will make them inefficient; they will sink in the water!”
